Völkl Gotama (2009)
A classic big-mountain ski because, as ever, the Gotama turns easily on steep, variable terrain, rails hardpack, and floats well. Like the Mantra, it bites early and pushes back throughout the turn.
Props
Confident, lively, and highly maneuverable.
Gripes
Lacked a little stability during high-speed straightlines.
Tester's Take
"Like home cooking, the Gotama makes you feel good." -Jeremy Benson
PRICE (MSRP): $825.00
