Völkl Gotama (2011)
Last season was the debut of the rockered Gotama, a longtime favorite revamped with new technology. The old cambered version defined its class—medium-fat big-mountain boards—with power and stability, and the latest iteration shows, as does the narrower Bridge, how useful and fun rocker can be. In tight tree lines, the rockered ends stay catch-free and out of the way, enhancing handling and responsiveness. The Gotama surfs pow and crud and rips fast, fluid GS turns in bowls and groomed snow.
