Rab designed its Alpine Tour jacket with the backcountry in mind. The breathable, wind- and water-resistant three-layer eVent shell fabric is lightweight and versatile. The helmet-compatible hood is adjustable, and the jacket features a lightweight mesh powder skirt. More storage space would be nice for pack-free frontside days, but that would add weight to what’s supposed to be a minimalist shell.
