K2 Apache Outlaw (2008)
Stable, steady, and predictable, the Outlaw remains unchanged this winter. Testers praised this all-around resort ski’s ability to smooth over changing terrain with a variety of turn shapes.
Not exactly peppy, the Outlaw is smooth in soft snow and damp and stable on hardpack.
Slow turn initiation—the shovel feels mushy—and the sidecut and flex don’t enable big, carved, hang-it-all-out-there turns.
"The Outlaws define the one-ski quiver category. These skis are wicked friggin’ pissah." —Aldo Peruzzi
