The X Wave's honeycombed Spaceframe shell softens the outer side of the boot where power transmission isn't as important. gripes: The shell doesn't offer much in the way of an anatomical fit. props: Quick and powerful, but comfortable enough for all-day charging. bootfitters' take: Aggressive experts with feet too big for the Falcon 10 should try these. Wide forefoot; medium instep height. The Rush 9's forward stance puts you in a reactive, athletic position. Look for heaps of edging power, but a softer flex than the 10's. GRIPES: Wimpy power strap. PROPS: Light enough for hiking the ridge. BOOTFITTERS' TAKE: Medium-wide toe box, with a consistently wide forefoot, instep, and heel/ankle fit.
