Now you can celebrate the upcoming Memorial Weekend by shredding Squaw Valley. The California resort has announced that it will reopen Saturday and Sunday for skiing and riding.

Three lifts—the Cable Car, Links, and Shirley Lake—will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. After hitting the slopes, kick back at the Poolside Umbrella Bar & Memorial Weekend BBQ, open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you’ve retired your skis for the season, you can still enjoy mountaintop dining, sightseeing, swimming and shopping at 8,200 feet via the Cable Car.

All-day lift tickets cost $44 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under, $25 for those with next season’s Bronze Pass, and are free if you have purchased a Silver, Gold, or Platinum pass for the 2010/2011 season. All adult lift tickets also include free access to the High Camp Swimming Lagoon & Spa, open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Squaw Valley offers 50 percent off any suite through June 2 with its Memorial Day Sale.

The Cable Car will be open for sightseeing, dining, shopping, and ice-skating the weekend of June 5-6 and then will open for the summer season on June 12.
