LOWRIDERS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY
Cheech Marin spent seven seasons on TV's Nash Bridges. Tommy Chong did a nine-month prison stint for selling bongs online. (We'd take the latter any day.) They're 60 and 67 years old, respectively. But that didn't stop a crowd of 800 from attending a tribute to the famed stoner duo at Aspen's St. Regis Ballroom last February, which included film highlights and a Cheech and Chong panel discussion. The very words "Cheech and Chong panel discussion" crack us up. The following line by Cheech isn't bad, either: "It was hard being Mexican in Canada, man, you know. In Canada, I was Indian."
