As an avid outdoorsman, I have two objectives: Save the environment and get rid of environmentalists. The cold has preserved my part of New Hampshire from patchwork developments. Visiting during the glories of October, the leaf-peepers think they want to live here. Then they awake on October 11 to three feet of snow, and they move to Florida. As for the environmentalists, after one weekend of White Mountain skiing, even the preachiest twit of an Earth Firster shuts up about global warming.
