TANDADALEN, Sweden (USST report) - Rosey Fletcher (Girdwood, AK) knocked off WorldCup leader Ursula Bruhin of Switzerland to take her fifth career World Cup PSLvictory Friday after qualifying 11th on the Stora Backen course. Teammates LisaKosglow (Boulder, CO) and Stacia Hookom (Edwards, CO) also advanced to the final16 before finishing ninth and 13th respectively.
On the men's side Germany's Markus Ebner held of tour leader Mathieu Bozzetto ofFrance to top the podium. Chris Klug (Aspen, CO) had the best U.S. result,finishing 23rd.
"Rosey was just flat out better than anybody else on the red course today," saidU.S. Snowboard Head Coach Peter Foley. "Everybody seemed to be having sometrouble with a bump near the top of the course, but Rosey was solid all day andjust kept winning."
Fletcher, who took third in Tandadalen at last years World Cup PSL closer hasbeen slowed recently by a bruised rib she sustained while training at Mammoth,CA, but showed no signs of pain as she cruised through the finals.
The final event from Tandadalen will take place Saturday under the lights withhalfpipe.
