WM: What is the biggest thing you have ever shot?
A bull moose.

WM: Where is your favorite place to ski? Why?
D.T.: Alaska, because the mountains are endless and the snowpack is like no other.

WM: Is there someone you want to go skiing with—but haven't had the chance yet? Who?
D.T.: Warren Miller, of course.

WM: How do the Canadian mountains compare to those in Europe?
D.T.: The Canadian mountains kick ass, but we unfortunately don't have enough lifts to access them.

WM: What is your favorite warm weather activity?
D.T.: Surfing.

WM: What is your advice to the dedicated Midwesterner who spends his/her winter sliding down steep and icy two minute runs?
D.T.: Have fun being outside no matter how big your mountain is.

WM: iPod or CDs? What type of music gets you pumped to hit the mountain?
D.T.: CDs. All metal.

WM: Is there anything else you would like to share?
D.T.: It's been a highlight of my career to be involved in Warren Miller movies. They're what I grew up watching...wishing I could do the things that were showcased.
