When a man noticed his skis for sale on eBay within a few hours of their being stolen at Utah's Park City Mountain Resort, police traced the sale to a local address, arrested a juvenile and recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen gear. The thief confessed to nabbing 20 pairs of skis and boards, then fencing the loot online. In response, Park City police have renewed a gear registration drive, though theives remain a step ahead: The cops are still working on putting the registration program online.
