Grand Targhee, March 31

Wyoming's Grand Targhee has received 10 inches in the past 24 hours, and 27 inches in the past week. And, thanks to the recent big snows, they re-opened the Blackfoot lift on Wednesday and will run it straight through Easter Sunday 4/4 before closing down for the season.

Once again I feel like perhaps the rockies end below the 38th parallel, what about this ski report at Ski Santa Fe? 3/15/10 last 7 days 32.5 inches, last 24hrs 10" And base is now 135". I feel the skiing is pretty darn good - especially in the trees!

OK so not exactly a dump at 2inches over the weekend, but still 100 inches of good snow up at SKISANTAFE at 10,350 to 12,075 things are still skiing well, open thru April 11th. Need proof view live webcam http://www.skinewmexico.com/Web_Cams/Main/Ski_Santa_Fe_Webcam.html

I went to Wyoming's Grand Targhee during Easter this year so I was one of the lucky ones that got to experience all the snow that fell during that 24 hours... Whether that made the experience in Wyoming I'm not sure but that skiing trip was by far one of the best I've had in the last 6 years. Had an absolute brilliant time. :)
