Every time I go up on the hill I see people (including ski instructors) making these static carved turns all the way down the hill and I just want to scream, "Wake up! It's easy to forget that skiing's a dynamic sport: The key to keeping it that way—and handling anything the mountain throws at you—is to vary your turn radius and speed.
