"I'll Take the Ham and Purina Sandwich."

Steamboat's Slopeside Grill, a popular après-ski joint just below the base of the Christie Lift, has gained a loyal clientele by providing such traditional offerings as burgers and pizza, live music, and luge shots on the deck.

But what has really won the hearts of Slope-side regulars is that its menu offers entrées not just for paying guests, but panting ones. Your four-legged friends are welcome here-even joining you at a table on the deck. The restaurant even sponsored a Monday "Dine with your Dog" night until the health department said, "Uh...we don't think so."

Though the dog menu no longer provides the number of options it once did (Eukanuba and Iams Lamb & Rice formula), canine customers can still order Purina, washing it down with the bar's most popular drink-a bowl of water.
