The heart of Sundance Farms is its three acres of organically grown flower and herb gardens. Its soul, however, is Robert Redford, who founded the business 12 years ago to provide organic produce to his resort's restaurants and "farm in a way that respects nature." Horticulturist and manager Liz Sprackland's goal is to "make the garden a part of everyday life." That said, Sundance Farms is an enjoyable way to experience the bounty of Utah earth. Set on a 35-acre former dairy farm 20 miles from Sundance and Park City, Sundance Farms welcomes visitors to stroll through stately rows of sunflowers, as well as organic herbs, vegetables, flowers and greens. What's not sent to Sundance's kitchens finds its way into dried flower arrangements, culinary spice blends and oils, handmade soaps, jams and teas. All products are 100 percent natural and are packaged in reusable or recycled materials. If you can't make it to the gift shop, visit, where it's summer year-round.
