A fine article and great read! Thanks for being an example - I cringe when I see pros not wearing helmets when they're doing insane things in ski films. WTF!
But it's just as important to point out that you don't have to be dropping giant lines in Chamonix to benefit from a helmet. You can crack a noggin against a pine branch when riding in the trees at Mary Jane, or catch an edge and slam your skull into the corduroy on an easy intermediate run at Copper Mountain. I don't even need to mention all the metal and ice in terrain parks that could crack your melon!
It doesn't make sense for ANY skier or rider not to wear a lid.
