NASTAR, the largest public grassroots ski race program in the world, proudly announces a new partnership with Aspen/Snowmass to serve as the host resort for the 2013 and 2014 Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships.

Tommy Moe, Daron Rahlves and Marco Sullivan spent their mornings heli-skiing corn snow, followed by afternoons of king salmon fishing.

Wow, we nailed it with the timing here in AK! For three days before we got here it was raining and foggy. Then Tom Day, Danny Day and I show up and BAM! The first two days of the trip are blue bird and amazing. My first time here to Points North Heli in Cordova, and my first time filming with Warren Miller, and I'm like, "Wow I guess it's always sunny in Alaska!" It looks like the luck is on our side with the weather. The trip has started out well with some amazing conditions and we are already pushing it pretty hard. I am lucky enough to be shredding with Mitch Toelderer, an amazing big mountain snowboarder from Innsbruck who charges as hard as anyone and is a super humble person to be with in the mountains. I am learning a lot from him and it's fun to pushi it a little! All the photos on this post were taken by Mitch. Traveling is tough on any sort of routine, but anyone who has tried to keep a workout regimen while on a vacation or a business trip has experienced the difficulty of fitting in training on the road. But for people like Warren Miller Entertainment athlete Jess McMillan, who travels a lot and must stay at the top of her game as far as strength and fitness, on-the-go training is not an option, it is a necessity.
