This year, veteran pro-snowboarder Rob Kingwill and Olympic gold medalist Seth Wescott went to Alaska with Valdez Heli-Ski Guides to film an all-snowboard big mountain segment for Ticket to Ride. We caught up with Rob to get all the details of their epic trip.

In addition to filming in Montana with WME for Ticket to Ride, Freeskiing star and Salomon athlete Elyse Saugstad made her own edit this winter, worked with fellow pro skier Lynsey Dyer on an all-women’s ski film, was accepted to speak at TED x San Francisco, and is putting on snow safety awareness clinics for women.

The Warren Miller crew traveled to Kazakhstan in 1996 to film for Snowriders 2 and returned for this year's film, Ticket to Ride. 1996 was nothing like what they found in 2013.
