We're taking to the streets with grassroots efforts to spread the news about this year's movie. Be part of the action and you'll be rewarded with Warren Miller gear or free movie tickets!
Do you love to ski or snowboard? Do you love Warren Miller films? Do you love getting free stuff? If so, we would love your help!
We take pride in having a devoted fan base that continues to show interest in our films. Our Street Team's grassroots efforts drive the success of our tour—because only you have the ability to reach your communities on a personal level and to create a Warren Miller buzz on your city's streets. This year's Street Team members will not only hang posters and hand out flyers, but they will also spread the word about upcoming show dates, times and locations online.
Join the Warren Miller Street Team. It's simple!
1) Do you live in one of the following cities? Denver, Boulder & Colorado Springs, CO; Los Angeles, San Francisco & San Jose CA; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; Hartford, CT; Minneapolis, MN; Salt Lake City, UT; Detroit, MI; Albany, NY
2) If so, go to StreetShimon.com. (If not, contact feedback@warrenmiller.com)
3) Once you are on the site, create an account using your Facebook Log In.
4) Once you are logged in and at your Street Shimon “Homepage”, click on See All Events (under “My Campaigns on the right-hand side) and add Warren Miller’s Flow State as the opportunity you want to promote.
5) Join the Street Team campaign in your area by accepting the pop-up invitation on the top of your screen.
6) Once you have joined a campaign, you are ready to start getting the word out about Warren Miller!
7) Available “Actions” will appear in your “Action Feed” (on the left-hand side). An Action will be everything from posting about Warren Miller films on your Facebook page to hanging Flow State posters around town. The more “Actions” you complete, the more “Points” you earn and the more stuff you get!
*Points can gain you standing on the LeaderBoard, get you tickets to Warren Miller's Flow State, and enter you in a drawing to win 2 Nights of Lift and Lodging for 2 at Crested Butte Mountain Resort! You can also redeem Points for other items in the Street Shimon Online Store. In other words, no matter how you work it, you will get great stuff for the work you do!
Getting Promo Materials
Once you belong to the Warren Miller Team on Street Shimon, you will be able to request promotional Flow State posters and flyers (“Promo”) to put up in your area. Here’s how to get Promo:
1) Go to your Street Shimon Homepage
2) Underneath the main “News” section, select “Campaign Promo Dashboard”
3) Request Promo to be sent to your home OR to pick up from a local area if possible.
4) Your package will arrive (via USPS) in less than 7 days
5) Put the Promo up around town and earn lots of Points!
