My trip to Points North Heli Adventures is complete, I got my best ski to day ratio ever, I was here 7 days and skied 5 of those. Hi Everyone,
Just a quick thanks to all involved for helping make my dream of filming a segment on Mt. Washington a reality. New England threw all she had at us and we managed to capture a wonderful story and the true essence and spirit of the White Mountains and the skiing there. For me it truly was "back where it all begins" and the Allman Brothers song by that same name has been in my head this week. It might be the perfect song for the segment.

It's that time of year again. The guides and pilots from CMH Heli-Skiing, the team from K2 Skis and the crew from Warren Miller Entertainment, along with Andy Mahre and Tyler Ceccanti have been hard at 'work' for the last 6 days at the Monashee Lodge filming the CMH Heli-Skiing segment for this fall's ski movie. Looks like that in addition to some exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, the skiing absolutely ROCKS and the snow is still piling up out there.

The quick back story of the 10th Mountain division piece for WME's 62nd film is this. I'm going to ski in and around the areas where the Mountain Troops of the 10thMountain Division trained between 1941 & 1946, prior to being deployed to fight in Italy. We have collected a number of interviews with the vets. We have tons of archive footage as well. We arrived safely in India, got loaded up and were on the road to Gulmarg. There's lots of snow and it's still snowing! We got good tree skiing shots today via Heli; there is really good, deep snow in the trees - it was fun.

STILL DUMPING!!
Ugh, this is so frustrating. Usually snow is awesomely cool! But right now I want to do my tricks and it’s dumping in Breck. Maybe I just go down to Denver and see the sites to get my mind off of Dew Tour.
Here's a picture from the weekend. I was filming my segment for Warren Miller Entertainment and trying to get some training in, but as you can see, the weather wasn’t so hot for shooting or jumping. Too flat.
