Wow, we nailed it with the timing here in AK! For three days before we got here it was raining and foggy. Then Tom Day, Danny Day and I show up and BAM! The first two days of the trip are blue bird and amazing. My first time here to Points North Heli in Cordova, and my first time filming with Warren Miller, and I'm like, "Wow I guess it's always sunny in Alaska!" It looks like the luck is on our side with the weather. The trip has started out well with some amazing conditions and we are already pushing it pretty hard. I am lucky enough to be shredding with Mitch Toelderer, an amazing big mountain snowboarder from Innsbruck who charges as hard as anyone and is a super humble person to be with in the mountains. I am learning a lot from him and it's fun to pushi it a little! All the photos on this post were taken by Mitch. Thanks Mitch, and nice work yesterday sending the first run ever down "The Rattlesnake". That was burly! It looks like sun for another few days so I'll try to send an update soon!

More photos are rolling in from our epic film shoot in Hokkaido Japan. These shots really give you an idea of how bottomless the JaPOW actually is. Photography by Glen Claydon
Lynsey Dyer and Andy Mahre traveled from WY and WA to MT for the Missoula premiere of ". . . Like There's No Tomorrow". They decided to stay for a weekend of delicious food, cold beer, local antics… oh, and great skiing.
Well, I made it! After a full day of travel from Seattle I have made it to Nesiko, Japan. I am here for two weeks filming a segment with Warren Miller Entertainment. Roman (the other skier being filmed) and I got out today to check out what this place has to offer. Not one person from this crew has been to Japan before so this is a learning experience for everyone. Japan is a very unique place and we are lucky enough to be staying at the Black Diamond Lodge. The guy who runs it deals with a lot of ski film crews like Level 1, MSP and lots of snowboard crews as well. I highly recommend this lodge if anyone decides to come here. Anyway, when we arrived we were told that we would rarely see the sun. Well, this morning, it just so happened that there were blue skies. We had a bit of a late start but we got to get up and check out the place. I'm very excited to see what everything has to offer and get as many banger shots as we can. Ill try and keep you updated with some good photos.
Thanks,
TC
National and world tour freeskiing champion Jess McMillan caught a lift to Telluride in the No. 78 Furniture Row Chevrolet race car ... Of course it was equipped with a ski rack and studded snow tires.
The World Premiere of WME's "...Like There's No Tomorrow" was this weekend in Salt Lake City. The film, which follows athletes like Jess McMillan, Daron Rahlves, and Steve Nyman around the world to places like India, Chile, and New Zealand, is headed to a theater near you.
