Warren Miller narrator Jonny Mosely has been busy this summer. He’s helped turn a former airplane hanger in San Francisco in to an indoor trampoline park. The House of Air, which opened in late September, is a training facility for athletes as well as families, kids and local trampoline enthusiasts.
The hangar is separated into several different spaces, including a kid-specific area and a court designed for sports like trampoline dodge ball.
Its biggest area is the Matrix, 42 conjoined trampolines that add up to a bounce space bigger than a basketball court.
We’re pleased to announce that First Ascent ski guides Reggie and Zach Crist and First Ascent junior guide Lexi duPont will be featured in Warren Miller’s 61st annual ski film, titled “Wintervention.” Check out these video clips for a sneak peak of Reggie skiing at Spitsbergen, Norway, and Zach and Lexi skiing at Southern Utah. Go to the First Ascent Facebook events tab for more information about the film’s tour dates and when and where you can meet Reggie, Zach and Lexi at film premieres across the country.
From November 1 through November 18, a group of skiers will be living aboard a ship off the coast of Antarctica, including a camera crew and athletes from Warren Miller Entertainment. They'll be taking Zodiacs ashore to climb and ski the southern-most mountains in the world. Check here for regular updates from life on—and off—the ship by Skiing magazine's senior editor Sam Bass.
We hope you enjoy "Warren Miller's Dynasty: 60 Years in the Making." It's a 22-minute, TV-ready short film, so grab some popcorn, settle into a comfy chair and prepare to get psyched for the start of winter! For a full-screen viewing experience, just click the little square in the bottom right-hand corner of the video box. Have fun and we'll see you at the show!
